About the Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Training Manager to lead and develop our Dovehaven Training Academy and ensure the delivery of an excellent in-house training function. You will undertake a full evaluation of training needs and develop and deliver an effective training strategy which will ensure that our staff are equipped with the requisite skills, qualifications and knowledge to deliver the highest standard of care.

About You
You will have previous training management experience, solid experience in the design and delivery of training within the care industry and up to date knowledge of all legislative and regulatory industry standards. You will be qualified to deliver Moving & Handling, First Aid, CPR and Safeguarding training and you will deliver face to face training covering all mandatory courses, induction, Care Certificate and updates as required. You will need to be innovative as to how we deliver training in a busy environment, blending classroom based training, online learning and DVD materials and accessing various funding streams in order to secure funded training. You must be dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the company. You must also be able to travel between our care homes on a daily basis.

Please note: this is a bank position to provide day or night shift cover in our 10 Nursing Homes across Southport, as and when required. The hours and days will vary and you will be emailed a list of available shifts on a weekly basis to pick up if you wish! Long (12 hour) and short shifts (6 hours – days only) are available.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time experienced administrator to travel between our care homes providing administrative assistance to our Home Managers. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain all financial, clerical, secretarial and administrate systems necessary to ensure the smooth running of the home. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of staff for payroll and personnel purposes, accurate financial records relating to ‘home’ income, expenditure and petty cash, assisting with recruitment, training, organising meetings etc

About You
You will have previous experience in an administrative environment, ideally in the care sector with a knowledge of CQC standards, and excellent customer service skills. Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised, you will be a team player but able to work on your own initiative. With excellent IT skills and strong attention to detail, you will be able to work accurately within tight timescales. You will also be dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the company. You must also be able to travel between the Homes on a daily basis.

You must be fully eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for a work permit or sponsorship.

An exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager has arisen within a 33 bed residential care home set in a stunning rural location in the Leyland area.
You will be responsible for managing and developing high quality services for all our residents, alongside developing and guiding the staff team. We look for all our Care Home Managers to instil a culture of care and continuous improvement across the service, actively working with staff, residents and their families, to help shape and develop a centre of excellence for person-centred care.
